Raspberry Acres Winery
Nestled in the beautiful farm country of Indiana County, Raspberry Acres Winery offers a scenic and quiet setting with weeping willow and crabapple trees gracing the large pond in front of the winery. The winery is owned by the Cunkelman family who continues the art of the winemaking that was started by George M. Clawson, Sally Cunkelman ’s father. George enjoyed making elderberry, blackberry and concord wine along with a few more exotic wines such as dandelion and rose petal. Sally and her husband Paul, helped her father not only to learn the art of wine making but also to improve on what he had started.
In 1986 they started entering wine in amateur wine competitions and won their first ribbon in 1992. Their wines are still receiving top honors today. The winery acquired a Limited Winery License in 2000, which allowed Raspberry Acres to share their award-winning wines with you.
In addition to wine sales and tastings offered at the winery, the Latrobe location in Westmoreland County was the first location in 2013 then known as Knupp & Schofield’s Country Cottage on 213 Main Street in Latrobe, which since has new ownership and was renamed Eclectique in October 2017
Raspberry Acres Wine at Eclectique offers 10 varieties of the award-winning wine. Free wine tastings are offered during the store business hours. Wine can be purchased by the bottle, or by the glass and can be enjoyed while shopping!
